Scope Of Work

This office space, located in the heart of Stuyvesant Town & Peter Cooper Village, was converted into a 13,000 SF preschool consisting of 15 classrooms, 8 bathrooms, pantry, staff room, kitchen, reception, and office.  The project was completed concurrently with a 15,000 SF buildout in the apartment directly above, also completed by EmpireCore, which increased the efficiency of the MEP coordination. One of the challenging aspects of this project was the integration of the fire alarm system, HVAC controls, and exterior door locking mechanisms, which all had to work together to create the safest possible environment.
