Scope Of Work
In an effort to expand their geographic reach, Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster (OAL) headed the effort to bring a multi-service medical facility to the Lebanon area. Joining forces with the Lancaster General Health system, the new two story, 73,500 square foot facility houses full service outpatient offices for the OAL group, including physical therapy, MRI, pain management, and outpatient surgery. An Urgent Care Care Center is owned and managed by LG Health who is also offering space for several specialty care practices and outpatient services.
Warfel Construction Company was contracted by OAL early in the planning and development stages of this project. Warfel’s Virtual Design and Construction team helped determine the optimal site layout for the building and required parking, stormwater run-off and set-backs. Our team also devised the renderings and floor plans above to help OAL visualize the building from the road, as well as plan for the best use of space for each department. Creating efficiency for each department while keeping ease of use for staff and patients was at the forefront of the space planning process. This early work enabled the Warfel estimating team to develop concrete budgets well before final construction documents were developed by the design team.
