Our Story

My name is Mack Donavon, President/Owner of Macknificent Electrical.

In 1998 I decided it was time for a career change. So I picked up a newspaper

and begin looking for something different with longevity. All of a sudden

there it was "become a journeyman electrician in 4 years. Go as far in the electrical field

as you desire". This was Independent Electrical Contractor School known as IEC apprenticeship program,  After completion of this program,

they helped me find a job with an electrical company that was affiliated with the program. I worked for this one electrical contractor

for 16 years. I have experience with both commercial and residential electrical work,

Upon completion of the apprenticeship program. I became a journeyman electrician after passing a test by TDLR

My father always said, be the best at what you do. I liked going to work each and every day and I was happy doing what I loved doing, and I was really good at my skill. There was another level I wanted to obtain, that was becoming a Master Electrician and in 2017 I passed the Master Electrical Exam.

I then decided it was time to go out on my own and to start my own business. Out of hard work and determination, I created Macknificent Electrical

Safety is out top priority here at Macknificent Electrical for both our employees and our customers.  All work is performed in a safe and timely matter.  We are committed to safety and provide on-going training to all personal.
