Our Story

Our Mission

To deliver reliable and professional soft-dig excavation and other civil services to utility market customers, while offering quality careers, and placing safety and minimizing our environmental footprint as our top priorities.

Our Highest Standards

In 2017, Merut Construction was formed as a woman-owned WBENC-certified civil contractor by providing hydro-vac & air-knife excavation, foundation work, rebar installation, drilling of piers, E&S controls, site restoration, and mechanical excavation services to the utility market. Our company brings years of construction management and field experience together along with being a signatory union contractor, to provide top quality workmanship for our customers. Every project receives the same importance and detail, no matter the size. Our professionals strive to exceed expectations and customer satisfaction by creating continued partnerships that benefit both parties.

At Merut Construction, we are committed to our customers and the health and safety of our workers and environment. Our goals are simple yet crucial; perform high-quality contracting services with safety, integrity and reliability at a fair price. Our safety programs include OSHA 30 and Operator Qualification training for field workers in conjunction with our union partners. We are also a proud member of the ISNetworld database ensuring our clients that we meet the most current levels of safety regulation and compliance. In addition, we believe in a drug- and alcohol-free environment, to achieve this we perform DOT pre-employment screening and random compliance drug and alcohol testing. Our Management, Supervisors, and Field Crew pride ourselves in our professionalism, work ethic, flexibility, efficiency, and most importantly, our quality of work. Rest assured, every project we embark upon is executed with the utmost standards of quality from start to finish.

Safety Is Our Culture

Merut Construction’s stance on safety is all encompassing. The safety, health and well-being of our employees and the environment around them is engrained into the very fibers of our company leaving no stone unturned. Requests for a copy of Merut Construction’s QHSE program can be emailed.
