Russell A. Budd is the president and founder of Wall Systems Contractors providing the leadership that drives Wall Systems to prevail as the top drywall, metal frame, and firestop contractor in Florida. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida, and is a Florida State Certified General Contractor. He is also a “DRI” Designated Responsible Individual through Factory Mutual’s FM 4991 Designation.
Since 1986, Russell has built Wall Systems Contractors into the premier drywall contracting firm in Southwest Florida through guiding fundamentals that have shaped the firm. Some of the base fundamentals that make Wall Systems the contractor we are today include our concierge service, promise to doing the right thing, honoring our commitments, making quality personal, and paying attention to the details – among many others. Our mission to Build Better Lives has been proven through the completion of notable projects such as The Ritz Carlton Resort, The Ritz Carlton Tiburon, the Naples Grande Resort, Cleveland Clinic, NCH Healthcare and the North Collier Regional Hospital.
Russell is a past president of the Florida Wall & Ceiling Contractors Association, and former board member of the Florida Home Builders Association. He is a past president and a current board member of the Collier Building Industry Association, where he was selected as the 1994 “Builder of the Year”. He was also one of the inaugural inductees in the CBIA’s Collier Housing Hall of Fame.
Russell believes that the Wall Systems Contractors’ team is what makes Wall Systems the premier drywall, metal frame, and firestop contractor in Southwest Florida and is honored to build better lives for the members of the team.
