Scope Of Work

Core States Group provides design services for this chain of restaurants that targets the young professional crowd. The restaurants are in major metropolitan areas, close to downtown or near major college campuses. Core States Group adapts a prototype design to each retail site, maximizing visual appeal to the customer. Locations vary between urban and suburban retail areas. The design focuses on the industrial look. A variety of metal and wood materials are used together. In unison stripped-down light fixtures meld with the metal fabricated fixtures to create an atmosphere of simplicity. Chipotle’s own designer makes wood and metal sculptures which hang prominently as shown here. Site specific photographs also adorn the walls of the restaurant. Core States Group is involved in the site investigation through construction administration, while working with Chipotle management and the general contractor.
