Builders R Us Construction (BRUS) is a general contracting company based in New York City and has over 18 years of experience in all aspects of new construction and building rehabilitation. A certified Minority Business Enterprise, BRUS works collaboratively with private developers, government agencies, local community groups, architects, and sub-contractors to ensure client satisfaction throughout all phases of a project.

Since its inception, BRUS has experienced impressive portfolio growth due to its capacity to identify and meet the needs of its client-base. Looking to the future, BRUS continues to strengthen its position as a general contractor while increasing its presence as a competitive developer. CORPORATE HISTORY & VISION

Founded in 1992 under the leadership of Peter Stefanopoulos, BRUS has completed close to 50 projects totaling over 1000 units in the Tri-State area. BRUS was one of the pioneers in the gut rehabilitation of affordable housing while maintaining work on various commercial and ground-up new construction projects. Having grown its Project and Administrative staff to make up an eleven-person team, the leadership now looks to leverage its reputation and abilities as a contractor toward becoming a Real Estate Developer and Manager. BRUS is on the road to capturing a full-service Real Estate presence in a highly competitive industry.
