In 2000, Artie decided to pick up some extra hours as a painter in between his serving role at a restaurant.  He quickly took a liking to the trade and began painting full-time.  After years of mastering the craft, he decided to take a risk and build his own business in 2009.  In a car ride with some friends, he said to them, "We should just get our own business going".  The two friends didn't take him seriously until Artie came back a few weeks later and said "Let's go".  

Being a little more risk-adverse, they didn't join him on the ownership level but began working for him.  A true learner, Artie is hands on with everything he does and took a keen learning early on to multiple different trades like drywall, framing, electrical, roofing, carpentry and tile.  It helped me be prepared for when opportunities came about from customers like "do you do this?".

Strong relationships are key as Affordable Painting looks to deliver strong value to become a longtime partner.
