Portico Builders

Casey Lasnier founded Portico Builders in 2001 after ten years of managing projects for residential and public works contractors. He wanted to start his own company that would focus on quality wood construction and finish carpentry. Combining his knowledge of construction management and his love of building, Casey felt he had earned a place in the crowded field of Bay Area construction contracting.

Portico fields a crew of managers, craftsmen and labor, selected for their attention to detail and a sensibility that will assure the confidence and comfort of clients as well as neighbors and building professionals.

Portico’s areas of expertise are remodels and new construction of homes, along with  decks, fences, gates and arbors. Portico maintains a 1200-square-foot workshop and office in San Rafael where it designs and creates architectural millwork, casework and cabinetry, doors, windows and custom moldings.

Portico Builders has also subcontracted wood construction and finish carpentry for a select list of general contractors. Precise estimating, scheduling and production are the attributes that Portico can bring to a project.
