Clayton Timbrell is the principal of Clayton Timbrell & Company.
Clayton has managed numerous and complex construction projects,
including the complete renovation of a 10,000 square foot Presidio
Heights home, a ground-up guest house and renovation of an existing
William Turnbull house in The Sea Ranch, and the management of a
substantial portion of work for the 2010 Decorator Showcase.
Clayton is a native San Franciscan, having attended Town School,
University High School and UC Berkeley. His commitment to education in
the Bay Area continues through his support of the UC Berkeley
Leadership Fund, The Summerbridge Program, and his company’s
sponsorship of the 7 Tepees Youth Program. In the Fall of 2015,
Clayton began serving on the Board of Trustees at University High
School. Clayton is a regular swimmer and he tries to squeeze in
mini-vacations throughout the year.
Clayton’s travels are extensive, beginning with academic study in
Spain and Cuba and recently including trips to Colombia, Japan and
Mexico City, where he was re-energized by thriving design and
architecture communities.
