Scope Of Work
Cadence McShane Construction Company provided construction management services for CarMax, a 21,337-square-foot automotive dealership located in Katy, Texas. The single-story building is on an 8.5-acre site with direct access to Interstate 10. CarMax is the nation’s largest retailer of used cars and currently operates 116 used car superstores in 58 markets.
The automotive dealership facility was constructed with a tiltwall panel exterior and features a well-appointed showroom, five-bay mechanics service area, and an area for customers. Cadence McShane provided 356 sales lot parking spaces for the used cars on-site as well as 169 customer and employee parking spaces.
