Steve M. Allen is the new principal of Allen Construction as of October 28, 2009. He learned the business through hands-on experience, receiving a management and trade apprenticeship with Allen Construction during the 1970s.
Graduating in Construction Management, Department of Civil Engineering, in 1981, Steve spent the first half of his career providing team leadership for hospitality, high-end residential, multi-unit residential, mixed-use retail, and commercial office building properties, in addition to healthcare, biomedical, industrial, and institutional projects. Steve held senior-level management positions with several of the top 10 builder and CM firms in the state of California, serving developer, corporate end-user, and institutional concerns. In addition to his real-estate and construction interests, Steve is on track to become LEED AP certified.
Allen Construction distinguishes its client services by offering nearly 50 years of developer-driven experience with its preconstruction and course-of-construction project delivery approach. Steve shares his father’s vision to be a valued boutique builder for high-end residential and commercial properties, with a focus on serving the Silicon Valley and Monterey Bay Area construction markets.
