Acme Awning Co.

Acme Awning Co. originally started in 1935 by Bill Thalin. Donald Arends, Sr worked for the company since 1948 and purchased the company from Bill in 1979. Alyce and Don, residents of Highland Park, made it their mission to keep the company located in the North Shore while continuing to provide a personal touch with each job. In 2006 their son, Kris Arends, 2nd generation took over the business and remains to maintain that same focus his parents did. Dedication, Integrity and Superior Customer Service are some of the quality’s we excel in.
