Ander’s nearly 15 years of progressive experience in the industry has given him a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver his client’s visions. His ability to build strong, lasting partnerships with clients, the community, as well as his teams has led to Direct Surveying. As a longtime resident, and established business owner in the area, Ander takes pride in fostering the evolution of the region. When he is not focused on his client’s needs, Ander is an avid golfer (in the summer), skier (in the winter), and Husky sports fan (year-round)!

Sam graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in Geology.  After graduating, Sam immediately began his career in land surveying.  Earning his way to becoming a Principal Land Surveyor and Certified Federal Surveyor over the last 16 years, Sam has always put the goals of his clients first.  His focus on clients’ needs has been the key to his success which, in turn, has led to client success earning him unsurpassed return business, referrals, and relationships you can rely on.  Away from the office, Sam enjoys spending time with his family and fly fishing Pacific Northwest rivers while practicing outdoor photography.

Val has over 25 years of customer service excellence. Her ability to create processes that foster efficiency and ease for both clients and co-workers, has allowed her to close the gap seamlessly between project management and administration. As Val always puts others before herself at work and within the community, she is a perfect fit to manage Direct Surveying’s Human Resources Department. With a constant drive for perfection, she also leads a proficient Accounts Receivable and Account Payable Department. Although she runs a tight ship in the office, she likes to make a splash with her love for kayaking, hiking and mountain climbing. Val can also be found volunteering in the community every time the opportunity arises.
