Scope Of Work

We were called in after hours by the home owner for this project on an emergency basis.  The source of sewage was from a back-up in their unfinished basement, filling it end to end with almost 4" of sewage.  We contacted our rooter company, who came out and relieved a blockage in the basement on the house side.  As always, we assisted our customer in filing an insurance claim for the damages.  We immediately began the clean-up with the customers approval on a self pay basis until we received confirmation of insurance coverage.  Due to the blockage being between the city and house connection, we did have full insurance coverage for this loss.  Once extraction and containments barriers were complete, we installed air filtration devices and dehumidifiers and performed our initial antimicrobial treatment of all affected areas.  Once allowed to dwell, we extracted the remaining chemical and re-treated.  Next we applied a biological cleaner for odor control with appropriate dwell time.  Next, we cleaned all affected areas with pressure steam and extracted the water back into our extraction truck.  Once E-Coli testing came back negative, we installed air movers to properly dry out the affected areas.  We monitoring the drying process using a Protimeter MMS2 5-in-1 moisture meter and thermal imaging camera.  Our sewage remediation process worked great as always, leaving this home clean and odor free.
