Our Story

Skillings & Sons, Inc. was established in 1970 as a small family business that drilled wells for drinking water. Today we are still a family business, now in our third-generation. We operate in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Southern Maine and have a team of more than 50 employees with more than 250 years of combined experience. Skillings & Sons, Inc. works with a variety of clients, including homeowners, contractors, engineering firms, schools and government agencies, servicing their water needs.

We no longer just drill wells for drinking water, either. Skillings & Sons, Inc. has expanded our company to provide well drilling service for drinking, geothermal and agricultural use. Skillings & Sons, Inc. also provides quality maintenance and repair service. Our team of technicians is available for emergency service 365 days a year and our customer service line is open during our regular business hours to answer your questions.

Need a replacement part for a water filter or sump pump? Our online store offers a range of replacement parts you can order from us and have shipped to your home. Not sure which part you need? Again, our customer service representatives are here to help you.

For more than 40 year, Skillings & Sons, Inc. has been a trusted name in well drilling in New England.
