Scope Of Work
Rentex is a national audio/visual equipment wholesaler and rental company in Coppell, TX. Rentex contracted with Metro TechSolutions to renovate the structured cabling network of their offices and warehouse and install a new security camera system. The project consisted of installation of 36 exterior and interior IP cameras, 4 Wireless Access Points, installation of fiber-optic backbone, re-routing of existing cabling, utilization of a remote IDF, and complete buildout of the main telecom room. Metro TechSolutions used a 40ft scissor lift for the routing of cable pathways and for the installation of cameras and wireless access points in the equipment warehouse. Great care was taken when operating in the warehouse, to ensure no damage was done to the large amount of delicate audio/visual equipment, and with little downtime to operations. Rentex continues to work with the expert technicians at Metro TechSolutions.
