Due to an influx of new orders, ACE needed additional production & warehouse space to satisfy customer demand for its high quality stampings. Herb Katt proposed a solution that included a pre-engineered metal building supplied by Nucor Building Systems. The result was a state of the art 22,000 sq-ft building which was in 2009. The building features a high level of energy efficiency with concealed fastener wall panels and conventional roofing. Mark Chaffee stated there was a very minimal increase in heating costs with the additional space. He also has received compliments from city officials on the clean look of the building.
