Amida Resources, Inc.

Amida Resources is the combined result of over 68 years of construction experience. Originally founded as Roteman Electric Company by Sam and Jack Roteman in 1938. Larry and Gary Roteman (sons of Sam and Jack) joined after graduating and the company grew to be one of the largest electrical contractors in Los Angeles and Orange County. Retiring in the early 1970’s Jack left the company and Larry Roteman stepped in as President.

In 1981, Jerry Roteman left the company and formed Roteman Building, a general and electrical contracting firm specializing in custom homes and commercial/ professional suites. 

Both companies grew and in 1992, Jerry sold Roteman Building and accepted a position as an Industrial Engineer, in charge of all construction and facilities for a major manufacturer of industrial plastic containers in Canada and the US. 

In 1996 Larry Roteman announced his intent to retire and began a search for a buyer for Roteman Electric Company, Larry eventually sold the company to Jerry Roteman in 1997. In January 2001, Roteman Construction was established and consolidated with Roteman Electric along with our design and engineering business to be called Amida Resources Inc.
