ACI Contractors and Builders, Inc has been serving the western Chicago land suburbs since 1996.  We believe that details make the difference.  Whether you are looking to transform existing space  from the ordinary to the extraordinary or build something new; we have the creativity and experience to meet your needs.    We specialize in restaurant build outs, interior commercial build outs and we've done some work in churches, a grocery store and office buildings.

Over the last several years, we  have traveled to 25 states doing remodels of Starbucks, Panera, Chic Fil A, Arbys and other restaurants.  Our teams have worked day and night to accommodate the needs of the restaurant, some of whom stayed open during the process.  We completed stores in record times because of our commitment to staying on schedule. Some highlights of those jobs were being involved in the remodels of all three levels of Mall of America.  Several Starbucks that we were involved with received special recognition and awards.  

Michael W. Adams is the founder of ACI Contractors and Builders, Inc.  As a third generation carpenter, Mike grew up learning the trades. He began as a rough framing carpenter contractor and has transitioned to all aspects of the building processes with in the trades.  His expertise has increased with a special emphasis on custom quality remodeling.  He seeks to provide personal and creative design, outstanding service, and quality craftsmanship.  He works with our clients to find the most eye catching and creative use of space for their budget and needs.  Mike is involved with every aspect of each project to ensure the quality expected is accomplished.

Amy L. Adams works alongside Mike and handles the details within the office within the realms of project management and financials.  Amy also has a passion for interior and exterior design.  She has a great eye for color and feel for textures to make your project beautiful and interesting.  She brings creativity and research to the team.  Amy works with our clients in the preliminary meetings and as selections are being made throughout the process.
