Rainbow Extreme Service

Eva Carver-Lemus was in the midst of cleaning apartments (one of three jobs) that she held at the time.  A long time believer in hard work and goal setting, she never shied away from studying her surroundings and learning from others.  As she talked to some of the painters, she realized there may be a little bit more in the painting of the apartments than the cleaning of them.

With that, Eva went out and bought a $200 sprayer.  Her one stipulation with the seller was that he tell her everything he knew about the equipment.  His main take-away was to practice with water; so she did.  On her garage.  And then her house.  And then again, again, and again.  When she sets her mind to things, things get accomplished and painting was no different.  Many hours were spent mastering the craft.

Being relationship driven, Eva went back to one of the apartments that she used to work for and asked if she could do the painting.  They gave her one apartment as a way to see if she was up for the job.  After 2 days, they let her know that they needed the work done in 1 day.  So she drew back on her work ethic and focus and mastered it more to get it down to one day.  She laughs about those early days, as one apartment turned to two and two to four and so on.

Eleven years later, Rainbow Extreme Service is stronger than ever.  This women-owned business with her wife, Holly, has been fortunate to work throughout the Midwest on commercial projects by building strong/loyal relationships with clients.  General Contractors and Owners know that they can count on Eva and her team to work within a deadline, and more importantly, with quality.  They focus on keeping a clean site and working together as a team, which is why they get called back time and time again from the same clients with new projects. 

The principles have stayed the same, but a lot has changed in 11 years.  There are new goals now, and knowing Eva and Holly, this story will be a lot of fun to read in another 11 years.
