Scope Of Work
SSG was hired to build a research tank for the University. The tank is 20' deep, 30' wide and 100' long with a movable floor and wave machine. The shotcrete walls are 2' thick. The concrete used in the shotcrete process contained Xypex to make the tank completely waterproof.
SSG formed, installed rebar, and installed the concrete of the tank with the wet mix shotcrete process.
