Scope Of Work

SSG worked with Cardi Corp on this project to repair failing portions of concrete on the washington bridge. The areas to be repaired were determined by the RIDOT, Cardi then did the chipping and prep work ahead of SSG. SSG then installed high performance dry mix shotcrete to the overhead and vertical surfaces that were ready for new material. King packaged shotcrete material was chosen as it performs extremely well for workability and in place strength and longevity. Curing was handling with a chemical curing agent. We worked out of man lifts on land and on barges. It took about 35 working days to install roughly 90 yards of dry mix shotcrete material. The nozzlemen on this project is an ACI certified nozzlemen.
