Scope Of Work
The MLK school project in cambridge involved removing the entire existing school and building a new one in its place. However one foundation wall of the basement was supporting a busy sidewalk and street that also contained lots of Utilities. The solution was to install a 12" thick shotcrete wall with a crystalline waterproofing product in the concrete mix. The new building needed a larger foundation wall to support it. SSG installed about 300 yards of wet mix shotcrete with a steel trowel finish to support the new building and roadway behind the wall.
