Manhattan Painting and Design Inc. opened its doors for business in 2014. The President and Owner, Justin Rhea, had spent approximately 7 years working in NYC as a Senior Project Manager for a large scale commercial General Contractor. Justin was destined to be his own boss one day and he embarked on that journey in 2014. He holds a Masters Degree from NYU's Tandon School of Engineering with an emphasis on Project Management and a Bachelors Degree from the University of Memphis in Business Administration.
What makes us stand out from the rest. We know that we are only as successful as our last project. Justin demands that all projects are completed on-time, under budget and quality that is second to none. Not only do we provide the best quality finish we also provide excellent customer service. We want all of our clients to have a seamless, stress free experience when we are on the job. We want you to be able to sit back and relax knowing we are on the job and that it will be done correctly, the first time.
We also have an impeccable safety rating. The way we do this is by holding daily safety meetings to walk around the areas where we will be working. We find any hazards that we may encounter and we address them. We also stop when tasks change to see what hazards exist on the new task. We want an injury free job site and we prove that daily by knowing the hazards and mitigating them immediately. All of our crew members hold an OSHA 10 hour card, Foremen hold an OSHA 30 hour card and Project Managers hold an OSHA 40 hour card. We also conduct random and pre-employment drug screens. We are a drug free company.
Why should we be chosen over the competition?
We hire, only, the most experienced painters. All of our foremen have over 15 years experience as painters. Our crew members all come to us with years of experience in the trade. We also have ongoing on-the-job training for our less experienced crew members. We know that if we want the best employees we have to train them how to be the best.
