Since starting Newman Windows and Doors in 1993, owner Duncan Newman created a window company with a difference, offering high quality products with professional in-house installation at a competitive price.

Duncan Newman, a British expatriate, moved to California in 1982, where he gained much experience in the construction and home remodeling industry, working in Rancho Santa Fe and Los Angeles. He also worked in Canada, New York and Spain. During that time, Duncan recognized a need for a higher level of service and while working on a multi-million dollar project he was inspired to start his own construction company. He believed he could make a difference by offering an exceptional level of service to the average homeowner.

In 1993, Duncan realized the potential for a replacement window business in the Golden State and Newman Windows and Doors was born.
