Mark and Shellie have been working in the insurance industry since 1988 and 1990, respectively. They began working in the insurance industry focusing on contractors insurance in the mid-’90s and started their brokerage nearly two decades ago. The Benton’s come from construction backgrounds, which enables them to fully appreciate the industry and all the different trades. Mark’s father was a plumber, while Shellie’s father was a pipefitter, and she grew up in her grandfather’s custom cabinet shop.
