Tammy brings over 18 years of experience in the real estate industry to her position as principal for Mortenson. Ben Goetter's Bio
Ben Goetter joined Mortenson over 20 years ago and is a member of the Phoenix Leadership Team. Prior to joining the Phoenix office, Ben played a vital role in Mortenson’s growth as one of the largest contractors in Wisconsin. Ben’s personable style and meticulous attention to detail has fostered excellent relationships with customers, design professionals, and trade partners.
As Vice President, General Manager, Ben is responsible for overall strategy development and direction of all facets of the group, including relationship management, preconstruction, construction, business development and community outreach activities. Ben's leadership is based on a long and successful track record in the industry and first-hand leadership of many large, world-class projects. Trust, communication, and a commitment to meeting customer expectations are his most important attributes. Having managed the development and construction of well over half a billion dollars in capital projects, he brings a unique operational point of view to each opportunity and challenge – allowing him to collaborate with each customer and partner to develop solutions to any situation.
Ben graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering with a bachelor’s in construction management and architectural engineering. He is also a founding board member of the Milwaukee Excellence School in Milwaukee, and was recognized as a “40 under 40” winner by the Milwaukee Business Journal.

Brian Fitzpatrick's Bio
Brian Fitzpatrick is the director of operations for Mortenson’s Phoenix office. Brian joined Mortenson as a field engineer working on the Camelback Ranch Glendale Spring Training Facility in 2007. He has successfully led several large teams on complex projects, from inception through completion. His expertise in sports construction allows him to successfully analyze project requirements; identify deficiencies and potential opportunities; and develop innovative, cost-effective and value-added solutions to enhance the quality of project outcomes.
Brian was named a Top Young Professional by Engineering News Record – Midwest in 2014.
Devin Hunsaker's Bio
A graduate of Brigham Young University with a major in construction management and minor in business management, Devin’s role is Design Phase Executive for Mortenson’s Phoenix office. Devin’s detailed and precise project management style has ensured the successful delivery of projects totaling over $564 million during his 17 years with Mortenson. Some of his notable Arizona projects include Salt River Fields at Talking Stick Spring Training Facility, the University of Arizona Lowell-Stevens Football Facility and the Salt River Project Public Administration Building renovation project. Devin is a certified DBIA Professional from the Design-Build Institute of America. He is actively engaged in the Arizona community and is a member of both the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the Sigma Lambda Chi Honor Society.
George Forristall's Bio
As Director of Real Estate Development, George is responsible for strategizing, sourcing and financing development opportunities in Arizona. As part of our Phoenix team, George positions Mortenson as a firm that can provide comprehensive turnkey solutions including site identification, tenant procurement, financial feasibility, debt and equity financing, government entitlements, and design and construction oversight for our customers through a variety of markets and across all product types.
George serves as a strong advocate for Mortenson's services throughout Arizona communities. As a team member with the company since 1997, George has earned the designation of LEED© Accredited Professional and has managed multiple projects types across the western United States, Hawaii, Guam and Tokyo, Japan.
George is actively involved with numerous organizations in the Valley including the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and Urban Land Institute (ULI).

With nearly 15 years of experience, Joe Strobbe is a project executive for our Phoenix office. Joe has worked across the nation, primarily on high profile projects for elite universities and municipalities, from concept through execution. He has extensive experience in executive operational oversight, project management, preconstruction services, and alternative delivery coordination. Joe organizes, staffs and oversees project performance including establishing objectives, maintaining budgets and costs, and managing all aspects of contracts for our municipal sector customers.

As a project executive with more than 10 years of experience, Joe plans, organizes, staffs, and oversees project performance including establishing project objectives and through administrative direction of on-site staff, maintains project budgets and costs, as well as manages all aspects of contracts. A natural team builder and collaborator, Joe is focused on maintaining an effective and efficient working relationship with customers and project teams.
Joe is part of the Phoenix Office leadership team and is specifically integral to the project delivery for the Eagle Mountain Data Center for Facebook in Utah. As the project executive and team leader, Joe has the authority to bring all necessary resources in support of this project, while ensuring project goals and constraints are clearly defined and communicated to the team in order to successfully deliver all elements of the project.
Lisa York's Bio
Lisa graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor of science in construction. As project executive, she plans, organizes, staffs, and oversees project performance. This includes establishing project objectives and directing on-site staff, maintaining project budgets and costs, and managing all aspects of contracts. With design phase expertise, she also provides constructability and cost efficiency input during the project’s programming and conceptual design activities.

Ron has been with Mortenson Construction for 28 years. As the Director of Design Phase Management, his primary responsibility is to provide input and leadership during the design process. Ron has experience with numerous project types including sports and recreation, higher education, municipal, infrastructure, water, healthcare, and mission critical facilities.

Bryan Maggio's Bio
Bryan is an enthusiastic team leader with a passion for healthcare. As senior project manager and healthcare market leader for Mortenson's Seattle operations, Bryan is responsible for project acquisition and performance, as well as creating new, and growing existing customer and partner relationships. With over 10 years of industry experience delivering a wide range of complex healthcare projects, he understands the unique demands of this market space and brings an extensive knowledge of working in both active and acute care environments.
Bryan is an Associate DBIA Professional and AHA Certified Healthcare Constructor, as well as an associate member of both the American and Washington State Societies for Healthcare Engineering. He actively supports many community service initiatives and has been committed to organizations such as Rebuilding Together and the ACE Mentor Program. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from Drexel University in 2008, where he played 4 years of DI Men's Lacrosse and served as team captain during his senior year.
Steve Knighton's Bio
As a leader in the Southwest region and trusted advisor to our customers, Steve oversees our work in Utah, including Facebook’s Eagle Mountain Data Center. With nearly two decades of industry experience, serving on some of Mortenson's most challenging and complex projects, Steve’s strong background allows him to set the right strategic course to successfully deliver on customer expectations. He exemplifies expertise in preconstruction, project management, design phase management, quality control engineering, scheduling and estimating.
Steve has delivered many successful projects under both the Federal Acquisition Regulations for Department of Defense facilities as well as for micro-electronic customers in construction of manufacturing facilities. His industry experience includes Mission Critical, Federal, Semiconductor, Corporate, and Retail.
Steve has earned the designation of LEED Accredited Professional and DBIA, and he is a member of the Top 20 Under 40 class of 2015 for Engineering News-Record's Southwest region.
