Scope Of Work
Mortenson was selected as the EPC contractor for the construction of the 6.7 MW Tech Park Solar Project, located in Tucson, Arizona. The Tech Park Solar Project consists of over 23,000 crystalline PV modules installed on a single-axis tracker, situated on 37-acres. Interconnection of the facility was made at 15kV class switchgear within the boundaries of the University of Arizona SolarZone and is serviced by Tucson Electric Power (TEP). The University of Arizona SolarZone is the largest multi-technology solar evaluation site in the United States and serves as an interdisciplinary and collaborative hub for researchers and the industry to develop and promote renewable energy.
