Tom Pelardis founder and CEO of Pelcon Construction, started his journey in the construction industry at the age of 14 working for his Family (older brothers and uncles). He graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology with a major in Construction Engineering Technology. He later went on to work for Construction Industry Leaders: Damon G. Douglas as a senior estimator and project manager responsible for projects up to $7 million. He also worked at Sordoni Skanska Construction Co. as an on-site Project Engineer on large scale fast track projects. In his career path he worked with Del-Sano Contracting Corp. senior estimator & project manager, estimating all types of commercial projects +/-$1-million to +/-$20-million then moving onto project management of specific projects.

After working in the Industry for many years, he was ready to go into business on his own. At the heart of Pelcon Construction's success is its unwavering commitment to acting as a full-service builder. By providing complete turnkey operations from the ground up - clearing, site work, concrete, masonry, all types of rough and finish carpentry, and all types of building construction assemblies.

As a young man, Tom was taught that hard work, commitment, integrity and teamwork was the only way to achieve success. Today, these are the values which represent the key beliefs in our businesses. They support how we do business, how we treat our clients and how we work with one another as colleagues.
