R.M. Williams journey from humble beginnings to an independent, entrepreneurial company is a story of people committed to improving the community, serving owners, and building strong relationships. Founded in 1976 by Tampa resident, R.M. “Mackey” Williams, we have proudly shaped the communities we serve for over 30 years. Many landmark buildings bear our mark – airports, schools, military installations, industrial, manufacturing, retail, governmental, recreational and more.

We Take Safety Seriously

Nothing is more important than the safety, health, and well-being of our employees and the people who surround our projects – subcontractors, owners, and the public. Our safety goal is zero injuries and no lost time accidents. More than a priority, these core values are strongly supported by senior management and backed by a comprehensive program of training, accountability, and recognition. On all of our projects our superintendents have received the 30 hour OSHA safety training and all of our employees have received the 10 hour OSHA training. This effort on safety is reflected in our below market employee modification rate, currently we are in the .79 range.
