Currently, I am working as a Assistant Project Manager with Total Civil Construction and Engineering, LLC in Lanham, Maryland. The projects I am working on is WMATA – Andrews Federal Center Bus Garage, with a total project cost of around $18 million located in Suitland, Maryland along with other projects. The General Contractor for the project is Hensel Phelps Construction Co.. My main responsibilities include coordination and administering complete construction process and progress of the project. It includes controlling the project plan by reviewing plan, specifications, identifying project phases and sequence. Another important task includes controlling the project costs by keeping a track of the expenditure, administering the contracts and the cash flows.
While my masters, I was working as a Project Engineer with Miller Mechanical Contractors and Engineers, LLC. My main responsibilities are: CPM Scheduling, Contract Administration and Material Procurement. This includes reviewing the schedule of the project using CPM analysis, preparing request for information, making and tracking change order logs, keeping a track of the request for information log and monitor project correspondence.
I have worked as an Assistant Project Manager and as a Field Engineer for different construction firms. My main responsibilities included assisting the project manager to oversee project progress, create critical path for anticipating project schedule, making cost estimates, providing construction oversight.
I was president and chair of NSUI (National Student Union of India) Central India for a period of 1 year and 3 months with around 2100 registered student volunteers working under me. In the meanwhile was involved in various humanitarian works like organizing blood donation camps, arranging guest lectures for the aspiring poor engineers and more.
