Our Story

Mike has been an electrician since 1980 and an Indianapolis licensed Master Electrician since 1986.   In 2012 he passed his Commercial Electrical Inspector’s exam with the International Code Council.   Some of Mike’s background includes working as a Railroad Electrician, Hospital Electrician (St. Francis Hospital for 4 years), Industrial Service Electrician for Brehob Electric and 25 years as the Electrical Foreman for the Indianapolis Public Schools before retiring the position in 2015.  

Electrical Instruction :

Mr. Fox has owned an Electrical training business since 1990 that prepares Electricians to take their Master Electrician exam.  Not only does he teach the class in Indiana but is now offering the program in the Cincinnati area.  Visit www.electricallicenseprep.com for more information of Master Electrician training.

Heating and Air Conditioning Services:  Mike Fox has been a licensed Marion County HVAC contractor since 1981.  He completed his Associate Degree HVAC program at Ivy Tech In 1977.  At this time Fox Electric is not offering HVAC Services but plans to offer the service soon.
