Scope Of Work
We provided 1,200 tons of structural beams, columns, moment frames, 3 stories with guardrail, stair towers, etc. Tolerances were to 1/16" of an inch due to each of the entire ~100,000sq ft levels being covered in floor plate with a 1/8" seams. This ~300,000sq ft structure supports automation equipment for transporting Tesla Model S vehicle bodies into storage.
The detailing was completed on the original schedule of 10 weeks despite multiple sweeping engineering and design changes and for a competitive price near that of foreign outsourcing.
