For Albuquerque Public Schools, BRYCON constructed a 9,730 square foot Kindergarten Addition on the occupied campus of Onate Elementary School. Student and staff safety - a top concern during the project - was maintained through careful planning, rigorous safety measures, and frequent communication with school administration. The project achieved LEED Gold Certification.
The project included:
Four kindergarten classrooms
Art/music room
Lobby
In-classroom kitchens
Amphitheater and play area
Roof-top solar array
Because of BRYCON's performance and high quality work, we were awarded owner-added scope valued at $600,000, the demolition and renovation of the existing kitchen and upgrades in the cafeteria.
