Most recently, Bill was the Chief Financial Officer for TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation and served as a member of the CNBC CFO Council.

With over 20 years of experience in the finance industry, Bill has held top leadership roles for companies like Acceptance Insurance, Inc. and Coopers & Lybrand LLP. 

Bill was named to Institutional Investor Magazine’s All-American Executive as one of the top three CFOs two years in a row.

He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.

Chris is a co-founder of Caliber and currently serves as the Company’s Chief Executive officer. In this role, Chris develops overall company strategy in concert with his co-founders and the Company’s Executive Committee and ensures that strategy is communicated to the Caliber team and the general market. Chris leads the growth of the Company’s investment services including acting as the fund manager for Caliber’s private investment funds. Chris seeks out opportunities and strategic relationships to grow the Company’s investment base – both in investment capital and opportunistic projects. Prior to serving as the Company’s CEO, Chris utilized knowledge and skillsets acquired as an auditor for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLP to develop the Company’s business systems. Under the leadership of its founders, Caliber has grown over a six year period to manage over $50M in in assets with average year over year growth of nearly 100% per year.

Dan Hansen has been a member of our Advisory Board since May 2022. He previously served as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Summit Hotel Properties, Inc. (NYSE:INN) from the IPO until his retirement in 2021.

Additionally, he served on the Board of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) and was a trustee of the AHLA Foundation and on advisory councils of multiple hotel brands.

Prior to joining Summit Group, Dan spent 11 years with Merrill Lynch in various leadership positions culminating as a Vice President and Regional Sales Manager in the Texas Mid-South Region.

Dan is recognized by Institutional Investor Magazine as a top small-cap executive in 2017. In 2018, he received the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Award in the South Texas region.

Dan graduated from South Dakota State University with a B.A. in Economics. We believe that Mr. Hansen’s extensive corporate and leadership experience qualifies him to serve on our Board of Directors.

Jade Leung has served as Caliber’s CFO and corporate secretary since April 2017. As CFO, Jade oversees all aspects of accounting and controllership, financial planning and analysis, tax, financial reporting, and treasury functions at Caliber. Jade is also responsible for the strategic direction of Caliber’s information technology and data security initiatives.

Before being named CFO, Jade served as Caliber’s Vice President of Finance and was responsible for managing and streamlining the Company’s accounting and compliance functions across all divisions and functions. In August 2016, he was also named the Chief Compliance Officer for the Company’s Arizona issuer-dealer, Caliber Securities, LLC, which established a new revenue stream for the Caliber group of companies.

Prior to joining Caliber, Jade spent 12 years with PwC, most recently as Senior Manager in audit and assurance services in Los Angeles, CA where he managed audit and accounting advisory services for some of PwC’s largest Fortune 500 companies in the United States, Canada, and Japan. Notably, Jade participated in over $1 billion dollars of public market transactions and financing arrangements for companies including First Solar, Inc., American Express Company, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, and Rural/Metro Corporation.

Jade earned an accounting degree from Ryerson University and Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. Jade holds an active CPA license in the states of Arizona and Maine.

Jennifer is a co-founder of Caliber and currently serves the Company’s Chief Investment Officer. In this role, Jennifer ensures the Company’s portfolio of single family homes, apartments, office buildings, and hotels are performing with a maximum positive outcome. Jennifer sets investment strategy for incoming properties in concert with the Company’s Executive Committee and further ensures each strategy is implemented or modified as market conditions change. Prior to taking the role as CIO, Jennifer served as the Designated Broker for Caliber Realty setting up an internal system to manage the purchase and sales of over $50M in investment property. Jennifer has spent her entire career as a real estate entrepreneur after several years of architecture & design school. Her designs and contributions can be seen throughout the Company’s portfolio of investments – including the recent $8.5M renovation of the Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport Hotel.

John Hartman has served as Caliber’s CIO since September 2021. As CIO, John is responsible for all of Caliber’s private funds, private syndications, and public products such as REIT’s and DST’s. John joined Caliber in December of 2020 as a consultant and was then hired to fill the role of Executive Vice President and CIO. From January 2020 until joining Caliber he was a Managing Director and equity partner of Republic Capital Partners, a commercial real estate merchant bank, where he oversaw the investor marketing and capital formation activities, including deal sourcing and negotiation. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors of Gadsden Properties, a publicly traded real estate company from June 2016 to January 2020. Prior to joining Gadsden, John was CEO of Landwin Realty Trust, a REIT created out of the merger of several private equity real estate funds from February 2014 to June 2016.

John also served as a Managing Director of Astrum Investment Management; a $50 million private equity real estate fund focused on C-credit middle-market industrial sale/leasebacks from August 2011 to February 2014. Earlier in his career, John held the position of Chief Financial Officer for Global Facilities Development, a national commercial real estate development and site selection company, focused on historical rehabilitations for high-tech reuse, primarily data centers, between 2009 and 2011. He has also served as President and CEO of Silverado Financial (SLVO), a publicly traded real estate finance company. John has held leadership roles at private and public real estate firms including institutionally backed private equity real estate funds, where he managed capital formation, due diligence, underwriting, and acquisitions. John has acquired/developed over $2B in commercial real estate. John holds a bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University and an MBA from California Coast University. John is a licensed real estate broker in Arizona.

Along with his position at Caliber, Michael serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Core Scientific where he oversees accounting, financial planning, and investment and treasury.

Prior to his current work, Michael was the Group Vice President at Providence Joseph Health System.

Michael has more than 25 years of experience working in corporate finance, public auditing and business operations for various Fortune 500 companies, including Intel and Microsoft.

He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago, and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois.

Roy is the Director of Commercial Projects and co-manager of the Caliber Distressed Income Fund “CDIF”. Roy plays a critical role in analyzing potential properties, maximizing returns on existing properties and overseeing all aspects of construction at Caliber. He has over 30 years’ experience in Arizona as a principle, operating construction and development companies that have completed over $200,000,000 in developed real estate. He has successfully developed dozens of projects including multi-family, custom home, retail centers, mini-storage, industrial complexes, office building and medical complexes. In addition to ground up development, Roy has completed several hundred tenant improvements from a standard office build out to medical surgery centers. A graduate of Washington State University in 1984 with a degree in Business Computer Systems, Roy received his Commercial General Contractor’s license in 1986 and his AZ Real Estate Broker’s license in 1988. Roy has worked actively with many cities development department and was recently Chairman for Peoria’s Design Standards Advisor Board as well as their construction Board of Appeals.

Chris has been with Caliber Development since April 2016, and has been an incredible asset to the Construction Team. Chris grew up in Kennewick Washington and has over 30 years’ experience in construction including big box retail, remodels, roadways, dam, nuclear and military construction project. While in Washington he was a PM at Apollo Construction, which was the largest

construction company in eastern Washington. He moved to Arizona in 2000 where he continued his work running BCS Development Group, LLC which had significant developments in the medical and office markets, as well as, retail, industrial and mini-storage markets. In 2009, he worked on several large restoration projects in both residential and commercial facilities. A couple years later he became the PM for Campbell Construction where he led regional project across the Southwestern United States. Now as part of the Caliber Team, Chris is over all Construction Projects, including hospitality, restaurant, office, multifamily and townhome construction, Residential Re-models and new builds. Chris oversees 6 Project Managers, 1 Project Coordinator and several Maintenance Technicians.
