Proteus® LF PP, available from Port Plastics is a new grade of polypropylene sheet that lays flat and stays flat, even after aggressive machining. Proteus® LF PP was designed to target applications where standard PP plate and sheet products cannot hold dimensional stability tolerances specified, allowing for faster cycle times, increase unmanned machine hours and eliminate costly secondary part finishing operations resulting in lower part cost.

KYDEX® 4545's ULTRA Low heat release gives designers the flexibility to use a number of different materials in bonded-build configurations while staying well within stringent FAA and project-specific regulations.  KYDEX® 4545 exceeds the heat release and smoke density requirements in FAR 25.853 making it an ideal material for composite construction. It exceeds the heat release to a level of 45/45.

Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) - TECAPEEK natural is a high performance, high temperature, semi-crystalline thermoplastic manufactured by Ensinger using Victrex® PEEK 450G polymer. TECAPEEK® combines excellent wear, and mechanical properties, even under thermal load. Outstanding chemical resistance and high operating temperature (up to 500°F) round out its profile and make TECAPEEK an almost universally appropriate material for highly stressed parts. Its excellent dimensional stability combined with high creep stability supports the suitability of PEEK for the most sophisticated machined parts. 

Port Plastics specializes in advance materials such as Atlas Fibre's NEMA Grade G-10/FR 4 (Glass Epoxy Rod), a continuous woven glass fabric laminated with an epoxy resin. Grade G-10/FR4 is exceptionally high in mechanical strength, has low moisture absorption and dissipative factors, and has superior electrical characteristics exhibited over a wide range of temperatures and humidities. Grade G-10/FR4 flame retardant and at 300°F retains 25% of its flexural strength while maintaining all of its electrical properties.
