John K. George & Co. holds a Class A Contractor's License in addition to a Marine Facilities Construction License from the State of Virginia. John K. George & Co. is bonded and fully insured.  John is also a founding member of the Central Virginia chapter of NARI; the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.  John was the first person in Richmond, Va to achieve the “Certified Remodeler” designation from NARI.

            John K. George & Co. has over 50 years of combined experience in the construction trades, including excavation, concrete forming, masonry construction, concrete work, stucco, wood and steel framing, all types of siding, plastering and drywall, and the mechanical trades including HVAC and radiant heating, electrical and lighting system design and construction, plumbing layout and installation, finish carpentry and cabinet making. The company is fully equipped with a new shop facility containing state-of-the-art tools and equipment.

John K. George & Co. has an enviable 1R3 rating with Dun and Bradstreet, in addition to a "100% current" rating by the National Association of Credit Managers. We have a fully integrated computerized accounting system in place, with in-house accounting staff to assure sound financial management.
