Clean Stripe

Glad you are taking the time to read about who I am and the company I have started.  In 2004, after High School I shipped out for the US Marine Corps.  During boot camp I was screened for the Honor Guard serving in Washington DC.  Shortly after getting there, I married my wife, Grace.  We are both from a small country town in Texas, with no gas station for 30 miles, so moving to DC was a culture shock. 

After serving there for 2 years I was shipped to Camp Lejeune, NC.  While getting ready to deploy, some minor back problems became big back problems.  After a long medical process, I was medically retired and my career in the Marine Corps ended.

I came back to Texas with my wife and one child and hit the ground running in home building and mechanical contractor work for a year.  After that, we moved to Knoxville, Tn. to attend Crown College of the Bible and Crown Seminary.  In four years I completed my Bachelors and Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry.  Now we are back in Texas, Pastoring a small church in North Texas.  With the need to support my wife and four children, it was back to contracting work.  It wasn’t long before my back problems became a bigger concern and a new line of work was in order.

A close friend of mine, Duane Hampton, was in business doing line striping and power washing and needed another hand so I started helping.  It wasn’t long before the business grew and helping became a more regular thing.  After awhile, Duane moved to Missouri and Clean Stripe was born in Howe, TX.  After a lot of customer demand to offer more services for their parking lot, I began seal coating as well.  Up to this point I have only lost one commercial client.  They are a large corporate chain and moved on to a “big” maintenance plan that did not include the local guy.  The managers are even upset with the corporate office because they loved our work and our prices.

With all the construction in North Texas, I have been blessed to get a lot of new construction jobs that are “HUGE,” for a small company like mine, but those clients are more than pleased with the work.  My goal is to grow my business to a point where I can employ veterans to help them get their life on track.
