Rooted in Nature is a family-owned and operated lawn care and landscape maintenance company that has been providing professional, quality, and timely landscaping services to homeowners and commercial clients in the greater Baltimore area for over 10 years. Based in Towson, MD, we serve Anne Arundel, Baltimore City & County, Carroll, Cecil, Harford and Howard Counties.

Rooted in Nature believes that landscape design is all about organizing and shaping spaces. In this respect, it is closely related to elements of architecture, which form the backbone of your landscape. Landscape design is one of the most complex art forms, because it encompasses so many different disciplines. Rooted in Nature does everything from surveying the site and understanding the soil to selecting stone, masonry, or wood products, as well as plants, ornaments and lighting.

Rooted in Nature guides clients through the various stages of organizing the landscape’s many elements. The process begins with assessing the site and its surroundings. Next is the construction phase, which includes anything from pergolas, patios, outdoor lanterns, swimming pools and spas, to streams, ponds, and fountains. The final step is the garden, which connects all the architectural elements.

At Rooted in Nature, everyone from the design team to the construction team incorporates the concept of “nature making the complex appear simple” into their work.
