Scope Of Work
Jamison Masonry Restoration was contracted by Kreilick Conservators to make specified repairs to the Monument to the Soldiers of Massachusetts in Valley Forge National Park.
The entire structure was carefully dismantled, and the existing foundation was repaired and stabilized to inhibit the settling that had begun to occur. The individual elements were then reset and poured. A final cleaning was performed on all the stone surfaces, along with a Dutchman stone repair on the rear center pediment.
