Specialty Solutions Inc is a company dedicated to making contractors’ lives easier, and their businesses more profitable through education and smart innovative products.

In 1997, a group of Independent contractors met to discuss challenges that were not addressed by available products or methods, and formed a company to do just that. The result, Specialty Solutions Manufacturing, Inc., is “a company of contractors, by contractors, and for contractors”.

This group gave birth to a new company with a new idea. “Contractors know what contractors need!”

Every product we do now or ever develop is based on one simple question we ask ourselves:“What product do we, or other contractors, wish we had that is not available to us today?’
As far as we know, our history is as unique as our products, and we are the only company in our industry to be created this way.

Our flagship product is PerfectPrimer, the “one step, surface prep” universal primer used to bond decorative coatings to virtually any substrate. It has been sold in many countries, and used on millions of sq. ft of successful installations,
