Scope Of Work
Here we have the removal of an old asbestos and wood cooling tower, which collapsed in onto itself internally. The old tower weighed nearly an astonishing 20,000 lbs drained. Some of the wooden eliminators were removed to lighten the rig out, as the wood was saturated and water latent. As you can see from the photos an "Evapco" tower replacement was chosen by lead Engineer Al Toscano, along with"Evapco" representatives. The new tower is substantially less weight by some 12,000 lbs, and obviously more efficient utilizing VFD control based on return water temperatures.
