Luke Hiller began his career restoring furniture for the Wood Right Shop in Long Beach, California. Since then Luke and his team have restored classic Long Beach homes in Carroll Park and historic Bluff Park, as well as Pasadena Showcase Homes, the Bembridge House in Wilmore City and, in 2016, California Historic
Landmark Rancho Los Cerritos.

Today Luke Hiller Incorporated is a full service staircase and flooring company, leaders in the industry for 35 years, and our goal remains to perfect our craft of restoration, repair and refinishing. We’ve learned how to recreate the look of original hardwood stairs and floors used in the Craftsman  bungalows first built in the early 20th century by pioneering architects such as Green and Green.

Our wide network of sources for the exotic materials required means we’ll never try to push you into “stock on hand.” As Master Craftsmen, we’re interested only in your satisfaction with our quality work.  All of our craftsmen are in-house and have over 100 years of combined experience in the woodworking trade. 

Going forward, LHI is increasingly involved in the green building movement, from sustainable forestry, VOC-compliant finishes and reclaimed timbers. We are members of the National Wood Flooring Association, and the US Green Building Council, and we are fully licensed, bonded,  and insured.
