We have a fleet of fully stocked service vehicles, so our technicians have the equipment and supplies to accurately detect the problem and restore your heating or cooling system. If you have an emergency, we offer 24/7 emergency repair service, and no overtime charges for our Service Club members, including holidays.

Allen Heating and Cooling Inc. is a family owned business started in August of 2006 — but not without experience. With one half of the business, Thomas Howe, our President, has had 21 years of extensive experience in the HVAC field. He is the proverbial “Jack of all Trades.” He is a graduate of ETI in Itasca, IL. Owning the other half of the business is Tom’s father-in-law, a former business owner of an $8MM company, whose main duties are administration, marketing and attending with regularity seminars to keep up with today’s HVAC technology – although it is not uncommon to see him assisting on furnace or A/C installations.

In February of 2012, Allen Heating and Cooling Inc., along with its sister company Bomar Heating & Cooling Inc. of Freeport, made an asset purchase of Norstar Heating & Cooling Inc. in Rockford, IL. Bomar and Allen are owned by the same family. We are very happy to welcome and serve the former Norstar customers and strive to satisfy them in their HVAC needs.

Allen Heating and Cooling has 10 late model work vehicles and 2 trailers with 8 skilled & trained employees to ensure prompt, courteous service to your home. Remember, there are never any overtime or premium charges—regardless of what time you call—for our Service Club members.
