Lewis and Clark construction, Inc. is a general building construction company licensed in the states of Calfornia and Florida, founded in 1982, as a sole prioritorship. In 2004, the company was incorporated in the state of California. We have continued to expand our services and client base to include federal, state, and local governmental agencies, commercial entities and residential clients.
The company is certified as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Minority Owned Business (MBE). Certifying agencies include Suppliers Clearing House, Los Angeles Metro Agency, Cal Trans, and SBA 8(a) program graduate. We are currently certified with approximately thirty local, state, and federal governmental agencies and Public Utility agencies throughout Southern California.
Our leadership is composed of Dr. E. Lewis Clark, President/CEO and Mrs. Jessie (Ja) Ann Reasby-Clark, Secretary/Treasurer. Dr. Clark manages the overall business direction, marketing and project management.
Mrs. Clark focuses on the office management activities, i.e., estimating, payroll, human resources, and bookkeeping. Mr. Edward Clark, ll, is our contact and lead person in Florida. He is also receiving his PhD from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee Florida.
Together, the Clark family has continued to serve the construction needs of their community and Southern California. Our project labor is composed of a diverse group of men and women hired from the local area where the construction project is located. We continually strive to meet diversity goals of the organizations we service. We recognize that the strength of our company is due to our employees and subcontractors and their continued committment to help us improve the economic and social welfare of the communities we serve.
