To help us keep pace with the construction challenges of our time, we’ve used Building Information Modeling (BIM), a trademarked model-based program designed to facilitate more efficient planning, design, building, and building management, since 2014. 

Our BIM capacity is now so entrenched that we’ve established a comprehensive BIM process that focuses on providing owners with a true three-dimensional, as-built model complete with facilities management data—while also ensuring that Target remains utterly current as the technology itself evolves.

We deploy our BIM throughout the coordination phase, the construction phase, and the as-built/facilities management phase, when the focus shifts to installed systems and the data facilities managers will need to operate the building once it is fully occupied. Additionally, through the use of BIM 360 Field as a management tool, we are implementing mobile technologies that allow the construction team to better manage documents, field reporting, material tracking, and safety. BIM 360 Field is a cloud-based, interactive platform that puts all construction documents in the hands of those who need them when they need them. Time spent walking back and forth from field office to jobsite is eliminated as well as the need to carry rolls of drawings, stacks of specification binders, submittals, and RFIs.

Our Construction Management services provide our clients with the assurance that all aspects of their projects are being effectively supervised.

Project Design - In the Project Design phase, we carefully review the drawings, analyze the design details against budgetary and scheduling constraints, and manage drawing reviews. Our in-house architects and analysts are particularly adept at finding new solutions to existing challenges.

Bidding/Awarding - During the Bidding and Awarding phase, we descope and evaluate the bids and draw together an expert construction team. 

Construction Oversight - During Construction, we are there, on the site, taking care of every material, every installation, every sub-contractor, every iteration of change—managing all the while for quality control, safety, scheduling, and budget. 

Project Delivery - In the end, we answer only to one authority— the owner who entrusted us with their vision and expectations. 

We’ve been successfully offering design-build services since the very start—collaborating with owners, contractors, and architects as an integrated team to produce churches and warehouses, as well as aviation, transportation, institutional, and industrial projects.

We’ve achieved cost savings thanks to shorter completion schedules, reduced the frequency of change orders, benefited from value engineering, and combined single-source project administration and management. We’ve discovered that owners achieve the greatest overall project benefits when the Nucor pre-engineered building process is integrated into the design-build program.

We’ve served as the General Contractor for projects throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, offering estimating, project management, and field supervision throughout. 

Our dedicated home office staff is supported by project management and accounting software scheduling systems. Our approach makes it possible for us to monitor and maintain the cost-efficient delivery of any building assignment.

Safety stands at the very core of our business. Our Experience Modification Rating is 0.802.

Along with our conventional contracting methods, we provide a uniquely cost-effective pre-engineered building solution in our role as the local distributor for Nucor Building Systems. 

Nucor enables the expeditious construction of clear-span spaces across wide two-story areas for churches, warehouses, manufacturing plants, and retail facilities. It facilitates dramatic open spaces, auditoriums, and gathering spaces. It’s a versatile product and process, capable of delivering nearly limitless variations.

Safety is not an adjunct program at Target. It’s not a separate category. It is, instead, integral to every decision we make—from the team we assemble to the building technologies we deploy to the schedules we put into place and manage with diligence and care.

We rely on safety training, green security clearances, and in-depth third-party agency reviews to frame our approach. Our in-house safety officer oversees our projects, conducting training sessions, providing safety guidelines, and performing site visits. His efforts are reinforced by our executive officers, who routinely tour our construction projects. 

We erect perimeter safety barriers and those barriers remain intact; in fact, our field superintendents daily inspect such barriers and immediately repair breaches. We erect required ICRA barriers and keep them in immaculate shape over the course of the construction. We clearly define access routing—the entrances and exits for personnel, equipment, and materials. We provide safety cameras and patrolling security officers and carefully manage and monitor the delivery of equipment and materials (as well as removals).
