Decorative Denver Concrete

Hello, I'm Joaquin Soria, I have been in the decorative concrete industry for over 14 years.  I knew, even before finishing the first job i experienced in this industry, that this was my new passion and career.  It only took me 6 months to learn enough to run my own crew.  It didn't take me long to get board with the one application that my employer sold for us to do.  I was just beginning to understand how exciting this industry was and all the amazing things that could be done!  I pleaded with my boss to train me to do the stamped overlays and the acid stains, but he was a conservative businessman and quoted 'if it isn't broke don't fix it'.  We were indeed great at what we did.  I still use some of the application techniques I learned there today. Winter came that year I got laid off. Don't get me wrong, I was great at the work part, but I've never been keen on being told what to do!  Anyhow,  I decided to go into business for myself and haven't looked back since.  Over the years I have  missed working  for someone else from time to time.  However, I know that is not my purpose. God blessed me with so many wonderful talents. Decorative Concrete has become a perfect outlet for a number them.  I pride myself in delivering floors that my customers can be proud of.  At DDC you will find a talented and capable staff willing to go the extra mile to exceed expectations.      I have worked with big construction firms like Swinderton Builders, and  Mortensen construction  in projects such as the new CSU stadium and the new boulder GOOGLE building. I am proud to say that i am still new to biding and completing large scale jobs.  Some people like word puzzles, I enjoy work puzzles!  Every day presents new and exciting challenges or "opportunities" to grow.  Every phone call is a new opportunity to 'build' relationships , and every job we complete together is our time to 'shine'.
