As Project Manager, Brandon manages various projects to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. He has managed over 60 construction and design projects ranging from $5,000 to $12,000,000 over the course of 5 years at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He has been intimately involved with the Strategic Capital Investment Plan (SCIP) for the Department of Veterans Affairs. He receives priorities from upper management on future project needs and performs a study of current and future gaps, to ensure the desired project will specifically address a needed gap, such as space, security, access, etc.
Planning is performed as a 10-year capital plan to ensure the medical center is properly planned for future needs. He has been involved with the space and equipment planning (SEPS II) tool to ensure the facility is designed to meet the most current specifications relative to defined space guidelines. He has also performed various architectural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing designs over the past 8 years for both the VA and private firms.
