Our Story
Homeowners have been demanding quality work and customer service from Messing Roofing & Construction for more than 35 years, and we’ve been getting the job done on-time, and within budget. It all started in 1978 when Joe Messing created the company as a trained master roofer and carpenter. With persistence and dedication, he went on to build one of the most respected residential and commercial roofing and construction companies in central Illinois.
The tradition continues today with Joe’s son, Mike, who grew up on construction sites, working summers, learning the craft and, ultimately, taking over the company. Mike graduated from Bradley University and is determined to honor his father’s legacy by providing superior craftsmanship for local residents who hire Messing Roofing and Construction to get the job done right.
